Growing up, I always had a love for the outdoors, flight, and tinkering with technology. Much of my childhood was spent outdoors - whether it was riding bikes around town, hunting in North Dakota, or playing around on family farms. When I wasn’t outdoors, as a teen, I loved flight simulators, building my own computers, and trying to figure out how things worked. No matter how I spent my time, my family worked to instill the values of going above and beyond, while providing a job well done.
My drive and love of these aspects were only deepened by joining the Marine Corps. My time in the service was also spent in a culmination of being outdoors, figuring out how things worked, and completing tasks to the very best of my abilities. The values fostered by my father were only solidified by the intensity of the Corps. My more recent jobs as a civilian contractor in Afghanistan, an ambulance dispatcher, and a network engineer for Verizon have further developed my drive to work hard, deliver a quality outcome, and efficiently solve problems. As a bonus, I get to fulfil my love of flight through flying drones to examine radio towers, gathering information to solve problems.
When I first learned of application of agricultural products via drones, it was as though all of my previous experiences were clicking into place. After some YouTube research and learning, the development of Ager Drones simply made sense. It is a way for me to combine my interests and values into a service that can help the greater good of our community.
